Tender sourdough bread with habanero cheese, crispy bacon, avocado, and a roasted pineapple and pepper salsa—griddled to cheesy perfection.

Butter 2 Tbsp.
Sourdough bread 8 slices
Habanero cheese, 1 oz. slices 8 oz. 8 slices
Simplot Harvest Fresh™ Avocados: Individually Wrapped Avocado Halves, Fresh 48/1.5oz 4 each
Bacon slices, cooked 8 slices
Simplot SIDEWINDERS™ Fries: Junior Cut Clear Coated SIDEWINDERS™ Fries Junior Cut 1 lb.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Thaw or prepare the pineapple and pepper blend according to package instructions.
Step 2
Spread approximately 1 tsp. of butter on one side of each slice of bread. On preheated griddle or sauté pan, lay 4 slices of bread butter side down.
Step 3
Top bread with 1 slice of cheese on each of the 4 bread slices in the pan. Top cheese with 2 bacon slices, sliced avocado half, and 2 oz. pineapple and pepper blend. Top each with another slice of cheese and bread, butter side out. Cook over medium heat until bread is golden brown, crusty and cheese is melted. Flip and cook the other side to match.
Step 4
For each serving; transfer sandwich to cutting board, cut in half and plate. Prepare 4 oz. SIDEWINDERS™ Fries according to package instructions. Serve alongside sandwich.
